The "old" Wien Museum opened its doors one last time. The galleries have been emptied for the renovation and expansion project, affording unprecedented opportunities for interaction. More than 20,000 square feet are turned into a playground for street art and skateboarding – two subcultures that appropirate unused areas and challenge our understanding of participation in public space.

We were invited to design the key visuals for the exhibition and the graphical guidance system for the show in collaboration with Jonas Weber.

The challenge was to establish a bold visual statement which is easy to decode and doesnt distract from the actual artworks.
